When I drove into Texas Friday evening, it was $2.99 a gallon. When I parked that night, unleaded was $2.89. Saturday afternoon, I passed a few stations at $2.79. However, I didn't expect that trend to continue and $2.39 to hit by Monday. I passed the sign above just a few minutes ago down here in Laredo. They were $2.75 Saturday night; apparently pricews crashed another 36 cents in as many hours.
