I went to the doctor's earlier today and she agreed that it's probably at least a sprain, if not torn. I was prescribed various things for it, plus one other thing for another concern I brought up, and advised to put ice on it to try reduce the swelling and pain. If it hasn't improved by Friday I may have to go in for an MRI or something to ensure that it really isn't a tear or some other more serious thing. Meanwhile, I'll just be taking things a few times a day to mitigate it in the meantime.
